Stillness Meets the Himalayas

A Yoga & Meditation Retreat in Rishikesh

One or two weeks to quiet the mind, steady the breath and come home to yourself.

A yoga retreat can change how you live and how you think. Siddhant School of Yoga offers one- and two-week residential retreats for anyone who wants a positive change in their life, feels life isn't going the way they want, struggles to stay focused on their goals, keeps missing their daily practice, or finds it hard to feel or express gratitude.

Most human problems come from an unbalanced personality. This retreat combines asana to care for the body, meditation techniques to calm and steady the mind, pranayama for energy, and yogic purification to detox. It also covers meditation philosophy, taught by Siddhant Ji in his daily philosophy class on Yoga, Patanjali, Chakra, Kundalini and Samadhi.

The Science of Stillness

Meditation Is a Skill, Not a Mood

Most people think meditation means an empty mind. It doesn't — it means noticing your mind without getting pulled around by it, and that's a skill you build session by session, not something you either 'have' or don't.

Over one or two weeks, this retreat moves you through several real techniques, so you leave knowing which one actually works for you.

Five meditation techniques you'll genuinely practice, not just hear about:

01

Anapana

Breath awareness — the entry point into every deeper technique.

02

Vipassana, Level 1

Observing bodily sensation without reacting to it.

03

Mantra Meditation

Using sound as a steady anchor for a wandering mind.

04

Chakra & Kundalini Awareness

An introduction to subtle energy work.

05

Yoga Nidra

Guided deep relaxation that rests the nervous system.

Each technique targets a different layer — body, breath, mind and spirit — so by the end of the retreat you're not just relaxed, you're equipped with a genuinely rounded practice.

“Stillness isn't something you find. It's something you practice until it finds you.”

FAQs

Yoga & Meditation Retreat — Frequently Asked Questions

The 7-day retreat is a focused introduction, ideal if your time is limited. The 14-day retreat gives meditation practice more time to deepen and settle, which most students find genuinely changes how the retreat feels by the second week. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll help you choose.

The 14-day fees shown are approximate and subject to confirmation at the time of booking — message us on WhatsApp for the exact, current rate for your dates and room type.

No — it combines asana to care for the body, meditation techniques to calm and steady the mind, pranayama for energy, and yogic purification to detox, alongside a daily philosophy class with Siddhant Ji.

Yes. Siddhant School of Yoga is a Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance USA (RYS 200, RYS 300, RYS 500). This particular retreat itself gives a Siddhant School of Yoga completion certificate, not a Yoga Alliance teaching certificate — only our 200-hour, 300-hour and 500-hour Teacher Training Courses lead to an official Yoga Alliance RYT credential.

Anyone with the right attitude toward learning and practicing yoga. Beyond that, we ask that you: be in good physical health, keep an open mind, commit to full attendance, follow a vegetarian diet during the course, avoid alcohol, drugs and smoking, have basic English proficiency, be between 18–60 years old, have had no surgery in the last year, and not bring children along.

Two clear color photocopies of your passport (plus the original for verification), two passport-size photos, and your visa expiry details.

Yes, an Indian Tourist e-Visa is mandatory for foreign nationals. It's also a good idea to arrange travel and health insurance before you depart.

We recommend arriving a day early. You'll check in, rest, then complete your registration form and pay any remaining balance, followed by a short tour of the yoga hall and dining area.

The day begins with a morning Hatha class (8–9 AM) and breakfast, followed by a traditional fire ceremony at 10:30 AM, a group photo and your study materials. At 3 PM there's an orientation covering teachers, syllabus, rules and goals for the retreat.

Two passport-size photos, your phone and charger, a debit card, seasonal and comfortable yoga clothing, comfortable shoes, a travel towel, and a small first-aid kit with any personal medicines. Leave expensive jewelry at home — the school isn't responsible for lost valuables.

The advance/registration deposit is non-refundable. In a genuine emergency, you can postpone to another scheduled batch within the same year by emailing us your reason. Cancellations are accepted by email at no extra charge, but the deposit itself is not refunded.
