Mantra Yoga & Meditation Retreat in Rishikesh — Quick Facts

“Chanting toward stillness above the Ganga”

Sound Is One of Yoga's Oldest Technologies
Long before yoga became postures, it was sound — mantra chanted with the right pronunciation, rhythm and intention to steady the mind and open the heart.
This retreat teaches you mantra as a living practice, not a memorized recitation, so it becomes something you can actually use.

The traditional mantras you'll learn to chant correctly:
Om
The primordial sound, the foundation of every mantra.
Gayatri Mantra
Chanted for clarity and wisdom.
Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra
Chanted for healing and protection.
Ganesh Mantra
Chanted for removing obstacles.
Guru Mantra
Chanted for gratitude and guidance.
Shanti Mantra
Chanted for peace, to close a practice.
Each mantra carries its own purpose — clarity, healing, gratitude, peace — so learning several gives you a genuine toolkit for different moments in life.
“A mantra chanted correctly, with intention, can quiet a mind that meditation alone cannot reach.”

Living at Siddhant School of Yoga in Rishikesh
Letting Go of Self-Consciousness
Chanting out loud, in a group, takes a little courage at first.
Daily Repetition
Mantra works through consistency, not a single perfect recitation.
An Open Heart
The intention behind the sound matters as much as the sound itself.

A Genuinely Quieter Mind
Sound as a direct route past mental chatter.
A Practice You Can Chant Anywhere
No mat or silence required — just your voice.
A Real Connection to an Ancient Tradition
