Yoga & Ayurveda Retreat in Rishikesh
Combine daily yoga practice with authentic Ayurvedic nourishment and lifestyle wisdom on a holistic retreat in Rishikesh.
A Yoga & Ayurveda Retreat in Rishikesh
Discover your constitution and bring it back into balance in just seven days.
Ayurveda and yoga are sister sciences. On this 7-day retreat in Rishikesh you learn your body type (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), follow an Ayurvedic daily routine and diet, and practice yoga, pranayama and meditation suited to your constitution.
Small batches of just 10 students mean genuinely personal attention from Acharya Siddhant and the Ayurveda teaching team, in a peaceful riverside setting on the banks of the Ganga.
The result is a healthier body, a calmer mind and a practical plan to keep the balance at home. Graduates receive a Siddhant School of Yoga Certificate of Completion.
Yoga & Ayurveda Retreat — Quick Facts

“Finding your dosha's natural balance in Rishikesh”

Ayurveda Is Yoga's Sister Science
Every person is a unique blend of Vata, Pitta and Kapha — and once you understand your own constitution (Prakriti), diet, daily routine and even your yoga practice stop being generic and start actually working for your body.
Over seven days you'll learn your dosha and leave with a practical, personal plan you can keep using at home.

The core Ayurvedic principles you'll actually apply:
Prakriti
Your unique constitution — the starting point for everything else.
Dinacharya
A daily routine matched to your dosha, not a generic schedule.
The Six Tastes
Balancing your plate, not restricting it.
Abhyanga
Warm-oil self-massage, one of Ayurveda's most accessible home practices.
Dosha-Matched Practice
Yoga and pranayama suited specifically to you.
Understanding your dosha changes everything downstream — the diet, the daily routine and even the pace of your yoga practice all become genuinely personal, not generic.
“The same diet doesn't heal everyone. Ayurveda starts by asking who you actually are.”

Daily Self-Massage Practice
A hands-on habit you'll actually learn to do yourself.

A Body That Finally Makes Sense
Understanding why certain foods or routines never worked for you.
A Personal Plan You'll Keep Using
Specific to your dosha, not a generic wellness checklist.
Real Balance, Not a Quick Fix
A sustainable approach instead of another short-lived diet.
Balance isn't the same for everyone. Ayurveda helps you find yours.
Understanding Your Dosha
Ayurveda holds that everyone is a unique blend of three doshas. Here's a simple introduction to each.

Vata
Air & Space
Vata governs movement, creativity and quick thinking. In balance, it brings lightness and inspiration; out of balance, it shows up as anxiety, restlessness and irregular digestion.

Pitta
Fire & Water
Pitta governs transformation, digestion and focus. In balance, it brings clarity and drive; out of balance, it shows up as irritability, inflammation and an overheated mind.

Kapha
Earth & Water
Kapha governs structure, stability and calm. In balance, it brings steadiness and endurance; out of balance, it shows up as lethargy, heaviness and resistance to change.

Ayurveda's roots as yoga's sister science, the five elements, and how Vata, Pitta and Kapha combine to form your unique constitution (Prakriti).
A traditional daily rhythm — waking time, tongue scraping, oil pulling, self-massage and mindful eating — designed to keep your dosha in balance from morning to night.
